The product is a 1/25th scale resin 3D printed fully assembled Peterbilt 281 model kit by an anonymous creator. It is sold as a single unit with a skill level of 3 – Intermediate. The theme of the model is transportation, and it features the iconic Peterbilt subject in a scale of 1:25. The kit has several shortcomings. A few being both the hood and cab(in front of the windows) are too long, roof too tall, etc… Not saying there isn’t a MODIFIED real life representation out there somewhere.
So, what I will be doing is reducing the size of the cab/hood/roof to closely meet the exterior dimensions of the California Hauler cab, hood and grill, allowing the buyer to use the frame and running gear from the plastic kit. The kit will be offered as stated, NOT AN ACCURATE REPLICA OF FACTORY STOCK DESIGN. SCALED TO FIT THE 1/25th SCALE CALIFORNIA HAULER KIT.
With all that being said, this kit will still build up into a cool representation of a late 50’s, early 60’s rig. If that type of build is what you are looking for, this kit will fit the bill. If you want scale accuracy, this kit may not be for you.
